Default If I wasn\'t married

I think I'd probably propose to Poker Tracker, my new found love.

A few things I've noticed when rummaging through the 3K hands I had saved up.

1. I'm not half the player I thought I was.
2. The top 7 losing hands (most -BB/hour) I have are all suited hands, with ATs being my biggest loser. Coincedence? I think not.
3. I got my butt handed to me when I tried to jump up levels a few times.
4. In 117 hands from 6th position, I didn't cold call once - not once - and that was my biggest winner as far as BB/hour. Interesting...

I want as much info on poker tracker as possible - how to use it best, how to make it work for me...

i made a similar post after my first 3k. What you are about to hear from everyone is that 3k cannot give you any reliable information, and it cant. Your VP$IP and PFR are probably the only 2 stats that are at a "true" level right now.

ATs is not your biggest loser. you probably lost one pot with it

I think most tight players probably don't cold call enough

www.pokertracker.com

It costs around $40 bucks from memory - I would probably pay 5x that for it.

What exactly is it? Sorry for the ignorance. I hear people talking about it but don't really have a clue.

At a basic level it will allow you to import every hand you play at any of the major sites into a database.

You can then see how often you raise, what hands lose you money, how aggressive you are etc etc. Most of the hands you see converted on the various forums are taken from peoples databases.

You can use it therefore to track your results, find fish, fix your leaks etc etc

You can always go through your hand history by yourself but this tool makes it so much easier.
