Default More Deep Stack NL 2/5 Fun - Strange River

Playing a 9 handed 2/5 NL game online, lots of fish, one Super-Lag. LAG raises about 80% of pots preflop to 15-20, sometimes more, sometimes. He bets big when he needs to, gets paid off, and gets away when he's beat. The abundance of fish at the game make it profitable to still be playing with him there.

I have about 2k, LAG has about 1500. He was around 2500 for most of the day, but has suffered a few illtimed bluffs and second best hands that cost him. He was down to 600, but is running well again and back at 1500.

I limp UTG with 85o. A few folds, a call, LAG raises to 12, BB calls, I call, caller calls.

Flop is 3c 5d Jc. Checked to LAG, who bets 25. This pretty much means he still has cards. I call, and no one else does.

Turn is 8d. I check, he bets 65, I raise to 150, he reraises to 265. I still am not convinced I'm beat, but I'm pretty sure he has a hand. I don't think he'd spew chips here too often without a big hand, although he could have a draw. The chances he has an overpair are less likely.

River is 5c. He has $1150 behind. Pot is $627.

What's my play?

I'd bet 200 or so.

If you pot it he might get away, throw out a bet of $300 he should call, and might come over the top.

If he comes over the top, easy call? I am only behind two hands, but what could he have?

I dont play this high but can you explain how limping with 58o with a lag behind you is a profitable play?

You said he was a Super Lag, if he came over the top I would think he wasn't giving you credit, not that he had the nuts.

There were a ton of fish with big stacks. I don't mind seeing a flop for $15.

Bet 500, like your representing 5. He probably calls, after turn action. If he comes over top, obviously you call.

I bet about 300, he pushes, I get ill, but call. He shows 35o and I take a 3k pot.
