no you can never be 100%, nor do you need to. dont fold here unless you can see your opponents cards |

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
I would have rasied the flop and called down after the three bet turn. I do not see any reason to put him on AK. He may be coming in for a raise with 10s or better and it may have been 99. I would have bet this very aggressively. But I did lose a ton on two hands yesterday where my trips were beaten by a straight or better trips. You have top set with no flush or straight on the board yet. You might be beaten by 99 or 66 but I doubt that would have been re-raised preflop.

dont fold here unless you can see your opponents cards [/ QUOTE ] I think he's getting 13:1 to call here. So even if the other guy showed you his AK, it'd still be profitable to call. |

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
Assuming I played the hand this way, (where is the flop raise?) am I the only one capping the turn?
BB is probably less worried by the turn K because nobody raised his flop bet. In fact, the 2nd K coming makes it less likely someone is holding one. I would 3bet AA/QQ/JJ here if I were BB (unless I had a read that my opponent was very passive.) As Hero, I would cap my TopSet/2nd Kicker and then flat call the river if BB bet out again. (Not always...some of it depends on table feel and read of BB...but a substantial portion of the time.) Then again, I've recently been playing a lot of very late night 6 max hands where a 3-bet means that your opponent has AT LEAST 72o. |

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
I really hope you didn't fold
also reread the hidden outs section of SSHE, you are lacking in your board-reading skills the flop call is good, HU i think calling the turn has merit, 3way I like the turn raise, call the 3bet. |

reads?
I can see most villians with AA/QQ here, read pending; JJ or maybe even TT |

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
Good hand up till the decision to fold. Just call down. When the turn is a blank, this is a great time to just call behind.

I think if it's heads up you have to call this down. He could be overplaying AA or QQ here.

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
I like waiting for the turn to raise here 3-handed. Your hand is probably best(only loses to AK,AA for a 3-bet range of a sane player) and waiting for the turn here maximises your profit.

Re: KQ makes trips. Fold to obvious AK?
Why are you only calling this turn HU? I would think a turn raise here would be just as juicy as the 3-way raise in this example?
