I was referring to what much of the rest of the online poker world calls $100NL. I guess at Poker Room it would be the bizarrely named $1-$1. I don't play a lot of NL, but based on what I have played, there are a fair number of pots that should hit the max rake, which is now $1 less than before.

I just cant believe its a coincidence
the rake jumps from .40 to $1 when you
need .5 to start clearing the bonus.
From PRs response to the uproar on here
I think they will "fix" it (bonus situation) in someway.

Just cashed out after clearing only half points for the bonus. I won't play there anymore. horrible software too. Theres a new rake free site out there mypokerplace.net Not many players yet, and the software could use some improvement. Poor software and no rake is better than rake and good software. I reccommend others look into this. Also if no rake sites like this get going hopefully it will discourage the big sites from increasing rake, and hopefully encourage lowering the rake.

There is no way this rake increase doesn't increase your bottom line. It's downright despicable and devious. Wow so the .5/1 games are capped at 50 cents, that's about all the good news for players. You have destroyed the 2/4 games unless the table is full of space cadets....... [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Is this a 10$ Big Blind game? I thought the rake was capped at 1BB.

Does anyone play 100$ NL (0.5$/1$ blinds) at pokerroom and have some numbers to share?

I'd like to know how their numbers are working out now they've been running the new rake structure for a while. I play full time and previously made almost all of my living at Pokerroom, paying thousands in rake each month. I've basically stopped playing there since the rake increase.

these kind of leaps are rediculous.

Pot is $10 and you are heads-up, you bet 2 on the river and and half of your opponents call gets raked.

Why can you just rake in 5c,10c, or 25c incrememts?

This is one of the biggest reasons I will not play at party poker unless there is a bonus going.
