Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

CO (t3485)

SB (t1530)
Hero (t670)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to t200</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls t200, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, HERO....

I can't imagine calling here. So it's push/fold.

UTG must have a decent hand, CO has a huge stack and likely cold calls with way more hands than he should there. I can't imagine not pushing.

So the answer is yes. Better?

Also scuba- some of the hands you post it seems like you are trying TOO hard to dive into the psyche of these low-limit SnG'ers. I think this can be good for the higher buy-ins but most of the time you are giving 'em too much credit OR they don't even know what they are thinking! Trust me, who can predict someone calling an all-in on the bubble w/a short about to bust AFTER the river with a 7-high? I surely didn't know there were people THAT dumb.

I think pushing here is a mistake. Calling and then pushing the flop seems much better to me. Here's why: It is very unlikely that either player will fold for the 470 chips more you can make it. However, if you miss the flop and then bet your 470, both players will very likely fold hands you are beating (which will usually contain between 3 and 7 outs on your unimproved AK) and might very well fold hands that are beating you (UTG might fold 99 on a QJ3 flop). Furthermore, the 475 chips that are currently in the pot are more valueable per chip than the 940 extra you might win by pushing preflop. IMO, the route that gives you the best chance to win those original 475 chips is optimal. Remember, you might win the extra 940 anyway.
