Default Line with JJ against tight UTG raiser?

Sorry about the typed in hand, but the converter doesn't seem to work.

Poker Room 2/4 (10 handed)

Hero is UTG+1
Villan is UTG. Stats are 15/5/3

Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

--Preflop--
Villan raises.
Hero 3-bets.
8 folds.
Villan calls.

--Flop--
8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villan checks.
Hero bets.
Villan raises.
Hero calls.

--Turn--
9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villan bets.
Hero calls.

--River--
7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villan bets.
Hero calls.

Did I puss out on the flop? What is my line here? His PFR is on the low side so I'm putting him TT-AA, AK/AQ, and AJs/ATs/KQs.

There are many more combinations of hands I beat than hands I'm behind, plus I have 2 outs to a set and BDSD and BDFD if he does have JJ-AA. Given that, what is the standard play here? I think I should have 3-bet the flop.

He didn't cap it preflop which makes me believe it's not AA/KK. We are most likely up against QQ, KQ, AQ or AK here. I would 3-bet the flop to get more information out of him. His betting pattern tells me QQ or a set so I call it down on the river just like you, a 3-bet on the flop btw get this confirmed if he caps. He don't have AA/KK and I cant see him caping with AK or AQ. I call down after the turn.

Some people don't cap HU for that reason.

An important point.
I fold the turn here, and don't think it's insane.

I think the same kind of people who don't cap AA HU might also play A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] exactly like this. Also I don't understand why Hero would call the flop and fold the turn because Villain's autobetting that turn and we didn't have odds for our set outs.

Your fold equity is non-existent on this flop.

3-betting the flop for value does not seem smart.

I would 3-bet the flop. I can't imagine this villian wouldn't cap QQ-AA here. This could be a tricky AK/AQ, assuming you missed the flop with some high cards. Maybe he flopped a flush draw. I can also see TT or the other JJ playing like this.

How about this line? 3-bet the flop, if villain caps fold the turn UI.
