calculatemtexas software a virus???

has anyone downloaded the software from www.calculatemtexas.com? its supposed to be an instant odds calculator to run simutaneously while playing online. i downloaded it yesterday and my antivirus protection is recognizing it as a trojan horse. nothing has happened yet tho. im not sure if its my computer that is trippin or if this really is some trojan horse virus. anyone know???

f**k. what does it do? does it like jack your password for online poker sites? any suggestion on how to get rid of it? for some reason, my anitvirus software will not get rid of it. thanks.

I got the same virus. It's a major pain in the ass to remove it. Got to geekstogo.com and do some research and you'll find the cure. There's no simple solution.

I have actually wondered about that program (texascalulatem) as well. I have absolutely no reason to suspect any foul play but it DOES dial home with your IP address and software key for anitpiracy reasons (thats what they say) -after I fire it up, my software firewall warns me that it wants access to the net. If you don't let it, it won't work.

I stopped using this software quite a while ago but I have always thought that it was a serious security breach to have a program like this (that reads your hole cards) running while freely accessing the net while you play. No thanks.

who knows maybe I'm just paranoid but it doesn't seem worth the risk.
