Default Need *immediate* answer: tipping question!

Some people are over installing my blinds as I speak. Tip? If so, how much? Price of blinds = $480.

I didn't know that a job like warranted a tip. I would tip $30.

But keep in mind I've never had blinds installed.

You paid for installation. Tip a 15/20 percent of that. or $20 bucks to each guy. $10 to each wouldn't be horrendus either. As most people don't tip when they purchase service like this.

Nothing unless they were particularly amazing at installing blinds. They don't live on tips, most people don't tip them, and you won't see them again. I guess if I was feeling generous a few bucks, but I don't see it as at all necessary.

You know, when I first read this post, I didn't realize that it was OOT, and I thought you were at the WSOP, in your hotel room, and the dealer of your table at the tournament was doing something odd and illegal to your blinds that I've never heard of before, and you were going to tip them for their services.

You paid for installation? Then no need to tip.

WTF? Did you even read past "tipping."

I think I will tip $40.

Edited: no, $20 after reading some later posts.
