Default 88 hand - $55

UTG 1875
MP 1520
Button 3770
Hero 1665
BB 1170

Blinds 100/200

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, button raises to t620, Your Move

All I know of villain is that he plays in higher buyin games as well. I assume he knows to be aggro late. I think his hand range here is pretty decently wide, but not below 50% of hands. But because he plays in higher buyin games, I didn't know if he could fold to 2.5:1 pot odds. Thoughts?

Is there a way to plug this into SGA?

Rest of table. MP can be dangerous. Stupid dangerous. Otherwise, it's been a pretty tight table. And my image, if anyone is paying attention, has been very tight so far.

I think I fold this. I don't see him folding especially since his stack can survive a hit.

Edit: Or dare I say, stop and go?

This is a monstrous push. If he's never folding, why not push to start with? So I think you do have fold equity here. Quite apart from that, you have an exceptional hand. You understand this hand only loses to 6 hands, right? It beats the other 162, and destroys smaller pairs and Ax etc.

Hell, I'd call even if he'd raised allin. We aren't on the bubble yet, so I don't need to be ultragapping. I'd rather become big stack and then own the table on the bubble.

I don't think I've come to appreciate this, nor consider this yet. Thanks.

I'd probably push.

No, forget that. I'd definitely push. Have just noticed it's from the Button and a blatant steal attempt.

You have a great hand, folding is horrible, calling is worse. That leaves pushing. Even if he will call with any raising hand you are in great shape to double.

LOL. For your benefit.

Is there any reason why you think folding might be good? And yes, calling is the worst.

Wow, again completely incorrect. Did you read the OP? An amount smaller would be more perfect. I would prefer he bet 480 here (for psychological reasons, not pot odds).

His bet tells me he doesnt know how to manipulate pot size, thereby he may not be very goods with pot odds either.
edit: Actaully i might be wrong, he doesnt care about manipulating pot size anyway since he is the biggie.
Btw the perfect amount is 0. I declare myself not good enough to know what to do here.
