$55 This call correct?
I have him pegged as a pushbot style player, at least since 6 handed.

Re: $55 This call correct?
I'd call. Folding with this few BB leaves you with no real options. Your pushes will be called and if you are going to have to trust the showdown value of your hand A9 isn't that bad.

Re: $55 This call correct?
Don't you want to wait till the shortstack busts next hand?

Don't you want to wait till the shortstack busts next hand? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, but if he doesn't, I will be all-in with a random hand soon after whereas, in the current situation I have good showdown value as noted by Freudian above. |

Re: $55 This call correct?
I would usually call here, but I think I call slightly too much.
A fold will leave you with 0.2 EV. Assuming your description of the pusher is right you'll be about 60/40 to win against his holding. In that case your EV for calling is 0.6 * 0.36 = 0.216 which is slightly higher, so I'll stick with my call recommendation. You just have to be pretty sure about your read! If you're right it will be a marginally positive call. If you're wrong it'll be an absolutely terrible call. |
