Default Thank You Granny Mae!!!!

I was ending my pokerday and after having a $500 downswing I was only $100 away from even.
I must admit that I have been folding quite a few Granny Mae hands preflop lately, but for some reason I decided to play this one.:

Nice. Perfectly played on every street.

The poor sap probably didn't realise his top set on the flop would be no good.

Well played. I've discovered the Granny Mae works the best when it's played UTG.

Thanks for asking

It is the hand Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] raised at every opportunity, winning the hand, taking off all your clothes and Yelling 'Granny Mae' Loud while typing it in the chat too.

(I didn't know about the clothes part until Granny was so kind to tell me a few days ago, Thanks a Lot Granny!)

I thought it was time for a very scientific analysis of Granny Mae hands and that it what I am offering here:
Over 27,772 hands in PT, I was dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] only 17 times.
Of those 17 times, I played the GM correctly (sans clothes removal) only 4 times.
1 time was misplayed (only raised 1 time PF) and ended in a chopped pot.
12 times I folded (obviously due to ignorance) and I did not win one of those pots.
Of the 4 correctly played times, I won all 4 pots.

Coincidence? Small sample size? Luck?

No, no and no. Clearly scientific fact that Granny Mae must be played all the way.
