Default TPWK

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds.
Should I be betting into so many players with such a weak kicker? I think if I were raised I might fold here, especially since most of the players on the table are passive and I'd be somewhat certain I'm outkicked or is that play too weak tight?

Turn: (4 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls.
It seems that MP2 has either a draw or just playing TP very passively.

River: (6 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls.
I'm guessing not betting here would be incorrect, but I feel uncomfortable doing so especially with such a weak kicker.

Final Pot: 8 BB

Would anyone play this any differently against passive opponents?

Pre-Flop: I play same as you
Flop: I lead out, if I get re-raised, I might be in trouble,
I'd more than likely fold to a re-raise or call one more too see if we can catch something on the turn, that might be too weak tight. I don't like how many people are in this pot.

So yeah,
Pre-flop I'd complete
Flop I'd bet, I'd call one re-raise, if it's three bet we know our hand is about as good as out dated milk. If unimproved on the turn i'd c/f my hand.

I think this flop is a good spot for a check/plan to raise LP. your approach seems fine though.

i just played practically the same hand with A6s except the board did not pair. I did the same line as yours. I think, unless your raised, you have to assume that your top pair is good

With so many players on this flop, sometimes with TPWK I will check with the intention of Check-Raising a late position opener or calling an early opener. If I end up calling I will usually donkbet a safe Turn card, unless of course I improve, in which case I CR.

The difference here from the usual is that no OC's can come here to beat Aces, and most villians here wouldn't be able to find something to bet, so betting out is good.
