97/2/1 Player who cuts hands/hr in half - stay?
I couldnt make myself leave this table last night, because there was a 97/2/1 player who folded the flop 0%, the turn 4%, and the river 18%. He was the epitome of loose passive.
But he would run the clock down like crazy every time it was his turn. My hands/hr in that table was a bit less than half of what I normally get. After thinking about it some more, it seems like it would be a better move to find a new table than to keep playing with that guy. Rakeback equates to about .8BB/100. Assuming i'm a .9BB/100 winner over 50k sample size, then cutting the hands/hr in half puts me down to .4BB/hr instead of .8 from rakeback. So I would have to be pulling an average of 2.6BB/100 from the table to make up for the lack of hands. [100 hands an hour and 1.7BB/100 regularly at 50 hands an hour, i'd have to pull 3.4bb/100 to even it out .8BB/100 rakeback, so 2.6 would have to come from play] I really havent been playing shorthand enough to know if a player like that could up my winrate to that point... But right now my gut says no. Any more experienced players' comments would be great though. BTW the guys screen name was Stu_Veg if anybody wants to add to a buddy list. |

Why not just stay but open another table as well.
