i think i either bet more on the flop or more likely go for a checkraise. your hand kicks ass and i want to get allin on the flop any way i can.

Anyone reraising so much has a pair beat, so I'd look at your hand as a drawing hand.

I'd play cautiously after the first reraise.

And, as seductive as your flush draw is, consider that if you are against another flush then there are 6 clubs accounted for and you have a 7 out flush draw which only has odds of about 2.5:1 in two cards--a losing all-in situation.

Also, consider if you are against a two pair or a set. The probability pages (p.209-210) in Pot-Limit & No-Limit Poker (Ciafoone and Reuben) show match-ups between flush draws and two-pair/set (on two flush flops). The flush draws (in various situations) don't get more then 2:1 odds against a made set.

That said, you may want to take your hand, the flop, and explore win/loss with your opponents possible hands using http://twodimes.net/poker/. See if you get even close to 1:1 odds against any of the two-pairs, sets, or flushes your may be up against (I think you won't).

If not, I say don't go all-in on the flop. See the following cards cheaply until you improve.

My two BB.

Justin

Not that you went all-in of course. I'm just talking about being committed to the hand based on the flop action.

ewww. bet at least 6 on the flop then go from there. that will help you define his hand alot better. you arnt folding. but try to stay away from min betting big draws + big pairs. its much harder to get all in vs bad hands if you are forced to make that extra re-raise
