Anyone like checkraising the flop?

Still gonna be offering 10:1. I'd probably bet-3bet for simplicity's sake.

But these players are described as tight/passive, so checkraising gives them the opportunity to make incorrect folds. Getting 10:1, they might have odds to call, but psychologically they will see they have to call 2 cold and maybe more since the action isn't finished.

MP3 - had QQ (a bit weak imo)

I don't think it's weak at all. What hands would you play this way that he could beat? (3 bet preflop and checkraise that flop)

Not weak at all, standard HPFAP play...

MP1's preflop cap suggests that he has Aces. I would lead out on the flop to see where I am. If I get a lot of resistance, I might check/call down depending on what falls on the turn and river.

You'll get raised by AA/KK/QQ/JJ. You'll rarely get 4-bet by QQ, and JJ/AA will sometimes call the 3-bet to punish you on the turn. I don't much like 4-bets going in on this flop.

I don't becuase the only bet is going to come from MP# who is likely to check if he wiffed on AK.

I like the checkraise w/ KK and QQ because if we lead out limpers are likely calling a single bet. I much prefer to have to opportunity to face them w/ two. Since we aren't the capper in this hand we should be able to do this near 100% of the time.

Of course since Aces we aren't worried about the overs falling we can just lead. But I wonder if check raising there occasionally isn't right also, for hand disguising reasons. HU I think this isn't a bad plan, but with the callers in between we get more value keeping them along, no? +
