OT: Wireless speakers

I have been reading reviews about wireless speakers and they don't seem to work very well. I want to have a couple of speakers that I can take to the patio. My stereo is no more than 50ft away. I don't need waterproof/robust speakers. However, I would really like to have as good of a reception as with a wire connection.

I read people having problems with Cell phones, cordless phones, etc. In addition, it seems you have to fine tune the reception every time.

I am willing to spend good money. Does anyone use speakers this way with a good to excelent quality on the sound.
