Probably a stupid question...how does Party know I'm a girl?

I was a Party virgin until a week ago. I originally deposited at Stars and have always been happy to play there. But the instant bankroll offer got me.

So, imagine my surprise when I sit down at a table to bonus clear and realize the images are 9 men + me as a woman.

I have looked all over for a setting that indicates I'm female and can't find one. How do I change this? Should I change this? Last night I started to wonder if I should.

Live, it seems to be an advantage to be a woman. Online, it seems to get me more hostility. But I don't like to give away more info than necessary to my online opponents and I'd like to have the option of changing it. (There's also a thread in Psychology about women players that furthered my thinking along these lines.) I assume there is a way to change it and I'm just being obtuse?

u probably selected female in your personal info, I'm pretty sure they ask

You did specify your gender when you signed up, actually. You probably just don't remember.

Could you elaborate. I have rarely seen any gender specific chat. But maybe thats only because women hardly ever play.

My first day on Party I set my screen to not show avatars - I find them stupid, distracting and meaningless. Who cares what the morons think, just turn off the chat and take their money.
