The whole idea behind "Bluff Night" was to induce action; didn't it do so? I mean I suppose it's pretty thrilling to watch the "Best Player of the Night" make a stop bet on the river with a marginal hand, or bet into a made flush on the flop, but is that the most compelling thing to watch on TV? There is absolutely nothing wrong with straddling in deep stack NL poker, especially if the table is playing tight.
