HAHAHAH Bart answered. I was kidding. Ya know, since he's offered this explanation every single show they've ever done.

running it multiple times was started to avoid losing big pots in cash games by a lucky river card. Its so hopefully the best hand will win more often than not.

I'm thinking it was either 3 or 4 weeks ago in the Whale Game, Jonas really can play some amazing poker at times. His games Friday nights in the "big" 10/20 NL game are worth watching as well.

I just bought the archives Kev, I'll have to check that one out.

BTW - Whatever happened to Dimitri, he disappeared after his 25K win about a month ago.

Tuch called his "lady friend" a ho and he hasn't been back since.

Tonight's show is expected to be their "Whale Game", of 50/100 NL with a 5k max buyin to start, and increases as they lose their chips. The last couple of weeks have featured Ed Shanizarian, a businessman-donk type, win a lot of chips, then leave the game or turn his chips over to an ultra-tight player. Can he do it 3 weeks in a row? Will any 2+2 legends be able to break into the game and take some chips for themselves? Will there be 3 $20k+ pots the first 45 minutes ? You'll just have to tune in tonight and find out. Hopefully tonight's show will start on time (6pm-9pm PT over at www.liveatthebike.com for those that care to take a gander).

I haven't watched in about a month, why isn't this in the World Poker Tor/TV section? And isn't Barron suppose to be there sometime this week?

Question to anybody -

What did Lederer mean when he said in his More Secrets vid
"...hands have no absolute value in no limit"?

I'm assuming it has to do with the power of the all in move.

[/ QUOTE ]

I must be missing some sort of sarcasm or joke here.

uh no - Lederer did say that.

I'll have to recheck to context perhaps but I do remember him saying that.

Barron's supposed to be on the show tomorrow, if things can be worked out for him to get there in time. I moved the thread out of the WPT forum basically because it really didnt belong there in the first place. Also, It was an attempt to steer the thread towards more discussing the poker and not go off-topic. Also, it was an attempt to expand the viewing of the show to other forums (as appropriate) since most seem to want to stay far away from the WPT forum.

Default BART ONE OF THEM CHOPPED (on the Ed Hand 58 vs T8)

THATS WHY. The one with the 5 on the river gave the T8 the same straight 8 high did it not?

First one he lost
Second he won
Third he chopped. (1 card straight was on the board)
