Looking for cheapo hotel rooms in Vegas 10/6-10/10

My wife surprised with a trip the same weekend. we will be at the plaza (we're old downtowners from way back.).

I do not mind downtown at all except that they do not have lower-midlimit poker games and the women are not hot. I could deal with $6-12 and am most comfortable at $8-16 to $10-20. Most games downtown are $4-8 and lower.

That said, $3 craps with 5 or 10x odds is better than crappy strip $10 craps with 2 or 3x odds. The BJ downtown is vastly superior, and how great is it to buy a football full of beer(60oz) for $6 and be able to walk everywhere and see free music? On top of all that, you can get a killer Rueben, a shrimp cocktail, and a beer for total under $10 at the Golden Gate deli.

well, I'm there mainly on a BJ/craps trip with the wife and will probably play like one tourney a day. I'm not much of a limit player. If you end up at the plaza, give me a PM and I'll shout at ya.
