(And I never thought I'd say that).

Anyway, I've gotten good responses here for other things related to my work, so I'm trying again. What I am doing is brainstorming for celebrities. I need to think of a famous, recognizable person who is strong, with an edge, someone cool (not cheesy) and smart (ditzy is bad) to host a new show I am casting.

Ideas that have worked so far are Hugh Laurie (the lead from House), Sting, Lance Armstrong, Jon Bon Jovi (but I think he's a bit cheesy, whatever), etc. You know, dudes who won't shy away from brutal honesty but aren't like Rob Zombie scary. A relatable figure. Doesn't have to be male, but people like Brooke Burke and Leeza Gibbons are total crap.
