Re: Late Steal Gone Wrong
Tough spot. With so few chips left, I think you have to make a decision preflop whether to go all the way. You already have 1/3 of your chips in the pot with your preflop raise, and not a whole lot left to work with. I personally decide when he 3 bets if I'm willing to put my tourney on the line or not. If I'm willing to risk it, I cap preflop and get the rest of my chips in on the flop, no matter how bad it looks. Otherwise, I fold to the reraise preflop and hope I can do something with the 4 BB I have left.
Do you have any read on the BB that could help in this decision? Honestly, it looks like a small stack trying to steal and I'd 3 bet in his position with any two cards as well. |

Re: Late Steal Gone Wrong
The only read I had was that he was not protecting his blinds to freely and this was one of the only 2 times i saw him fight back. But then again this is a limit event so he can be easily 3 betting me preflop with a hand like TT.
