I've got a feeling Rome will somehow work in a few of the following into his "take":

How he's fat
How poker players are fat
Poker is full of degenerates playing in a smoky room
The Dogs Playing Poker painting
Comparing poker to other sports that aren't sports

Also translate "resetting that story" into rewriting the take.

And he'll just sort of reiterate each of these points over and over with extra-long pauses in between for effect. He could do his whole show in like three sentences, then it's just repeating himself. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I'm a sportsradio junkie, but I can't stand Jim Romes show. And yes I've given it a fair chance. His show sucks.

yeah, I grew up in SoCal, so I listened to him waaaaaay back when he was doing late nights. I can take him for a few months at a time, then I need about a year off, then I come back...he's got a very large ego, but he can be entertaining at times. Now his TV show...that sucks.
