Default What are rooms at Lady Luck like?

I want to go to Vegas January 13th through the 17th. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the room rates are nuts. All strip casinos are over $100 a night thurs, Fri, and Sat. Lady luck runs $55 a night. I have a car and do not mind driving. I am just curious as to what the rooms are like. I am also curious if they have decent valet/garaged parking as I have a very nice car. The only other places I have stayed downtown were golden Nugget(nice) and Golden Gate( in an emergency...not horrible, but bad parking).

BTW, why are room rates so much during that period of time?

Thanks.

There is a newer tower and an older tower. The newer tower is kind of a pain to get to, but the rooms are really nice. Not sure about the older tower rooms, but they're probably at least as nice as the Golden Gate.

Better than El Cortez too, I'm sure. Such great recommendations...

Lady Luck was featured on the Travel Channel as a place to get easy comps for the $5-10 a hand Blackjack player.

According to my map it's Lady Luck, Gold Strike, El Cortez and then Pimps 'n Ho's Land
