Default At What Limit Does PokerTracker Become Necessary?

I'm venturing into $1/$2 limit for the first time and am considering taking $50 out of my 5 hundo bankroll for Pokertracker. What limit do the regulars think become unbeatable without the aid of Pokertracker?

you are looking at pokertracker wrong...

It's not about limit, it's about sample size. If you are playing more than 10,000 hands a month, you should invest in pokertracker no matter what limit you are at. It will expose leaks you'd never even consider w/o it.

no limit is unbeatable without pokertracker

pokertracker is a very helpful tool, and i think if you multitable, than pokertracker along with pokerace will help increase your winrate, but the games are still beatable without them

it is helpful in finding leaks in your game as well as keeping track of how you are doing, but i think it is most helpful for providing reads on your opponents, you can get this out of paying full attention, but there are a lot of stats that can be very helpful in descision-making at the table, also you can use it to datamine and get reads on your opponents from hands they play while you are not playing

it is most definately worth the 50 dollars though, id go ahead and buy it, i dont know how long it will take at 1/2, but it will pay for itself

it's +EV no matter what. basically if you just buy it now it'll help you move up limits faster, help you fix your leaks quicker and help you become a better player. if you're at all serious it's definetly worth it if you're playing even .25/.50 .
