Default How much do you hate how I played this?

I've been opening SO many damn pots, not because I have been particularly loose, but the deck has been hitting me like other... I had trouble with this line, especially with my image, which wasn't too tight at the time.

I would probably bet the turn here for around 6k. His flop call looks like some sort of mediocre Jack or middle pair or non nut (obviously) spade draw. The only way you're getting checkraised here is if his flop call was a pretty big flush or he's very aggressive. Checking this turn leaves you at the fate of the deck when it looks like this pot could be yours. Even when you hit any of your 15 outs, you're not likely to get paid because your hand is fairly transparent.

This is a turn that I would push. You have a touch over 10K in the pot, the other guy has 15K in his stack, I bet his stack. It is a bet that screams, "Fine. If you have the flush, I'll pay you off, but I'll be damnd if I'll let you draw to it." Of course, the irony is that YOU are the one drawing to 9-13 outs. His check is very dangerous for a made hand, TPTK or set, so I don't think he has one. And, if he does have the flush, we DO have 7 outs.

Do you have a read on villain that says he's a thinking player or a donkey? Could he possibly be smart enough to be playing off your own aggression?

If the answers here are no, then this looks more like a pair+FD (or less) to me. If that's the case, a push on the turn seems right as checking behind will only invite villain to bluff on the river. If he's scared of a higher (or made) flush at all, a turn bet is the only way to take this down. Betting 6k, as another poster suggested, will leave you with 4k behind. If villain calls this bet and you miss your draw it's likely he has you beat and you'll be in the red zone. Since you're not betgo (sorry betgo, couldn't resist ) I would push the turn and hope that villain isn't holding 2 spades so you can push him off the pot. If he calls you still have some outs to the nut flush draw on the river plus the possibility that your A and K outs are still good.

I would make a larger bet on the flop with the nut flush draw plus overcards.

I might push the turn, but I don't mind checking behind.

On the river, I would call the small bet and hope ace high is good.
