Villain's been muscling me around with his stack, so, justifying my turn check, I wanted to see if he'd try to push me out with a turn scare card. Since he didn't I thought he was trying to keep me in and make a "bluff" on the river.

That, or I'm thinking far too much.

Why didnt you bet the turn? I think its a very weak fold.

I was almost certain he was going to raise me to represent the flush whether he had it or not.

If you checked the turn to induce a bluff, you have to call that river. That said, bet the turn.
