I had a beer (ok--MANY beers, followed by scotch and sodas) at the Radisson bar one night, and he was there, and we talked for a few minutes, and he was really very cool. It was him that started our conversation, and I don't even think we even talked about poker at all.

Then, I saw him during the break on our first day (we both played day 1 on Wed.), and he saw me and asked how I was doing, etc., even though he had a fair number of poodles yipping at his heels.

I always thought he had gotten a tough break with the way the cards broke when he was HU vs. Negreanu that time...glad to see him do well. Genuinely friendly guy.
