Glad you lost.

Maybe you should bet more on the flop. Maybe 400 or even more. Why try to play like that. Litle [censored]

If the still call you so why dont push it too the max.

Maybe even go all in... Play them for what they are.

The bets is screeeeming PLEASE DRAW OUT ON ME. )

This sentence alone, tells me you suck at poker. Do you see why?

Wow.... This statement is both bold and irrelevant. I know what your trying to get at, money is made in poker by people misplaying hands i.e. bluffing too often, calling without proper odds, betting into the nuts etc. But this thread wasn't about my understanding of poker concepts, it was about understanding my opponets better.

I will admit I am not a no-limit or tournament player outside of these games so I can't claim to be very good at them, however, I do think that my play is justified.

On the flop (A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]) I bet 200. this gives sb 4 to 1 odds to call. No hand that doesn't beat me gets proper odds call here. Even if he held a pair of 9's or 2's he would need about 8 to 1 to make his call profitable, thus he loses money each time this call is made. How does that scream draw me out?

Well technically if they know your willing to go all in with top pair third kicker then their getting good implied odds to try and hit their hand.

Psychology of Poker from Dr. Al will help give you some ideas on this.

Put yourself in your opponents shoes. When your playing something that is similar to how they're playing against you. (i mentioned pit games in my other response)

Watching and noticing psychological reasons why people do anything will also help. Why limit it to just poker? Learning a little outside poker will help you recognize it more when playing poker.

Yes but they dont care. And they have impaled odds to not only pot odds.

So like this time you called an all in so i dont know hove big your stacks where but i would maybe call whit 2 8 maybe it depends if i knew i could get your stack if it was big and mine was big.
But i wouldnt call the pre flop raise.

Beacuse you bet so litle i see it as value bets here but still.

Always dangrous to bet to smal in NL.
