Default SET OOP VS LAG MORON

the raiser 87/33/2 and is the bad lag moronic type. i would have probably checked if it was hu but the flush draw and some gut shots were there plus i was hoping the other guy might have an overpair. would you have played it slower or any other way? check raise flop or turn? risk a free card?

Better to win a small pot than lose a big one.

if the guy usually makes decent sized continuation bets I might check to him, otherwise this is fine.

Hmmm. If button were the LAG, I'd lead for sure. But, you can give consideration to the positions here. If I knew for sure that the LAG would bet, I might check to him and give button a chance to put some money in the middle behind the LAG, and then c/r.

But really, you can't go wrong in leading this.

there was another maniac at the table and they kept raising and rr themselves, the other guy was even more lag postflop (but still bad lag) so i didn't see him make many or big cb's. the hand where my maniac got killed by the other, enjoy:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

saw flop|saw showdown

UTG ($22.25)
MP ($25.60)
Hero ($53.80)
SB ($18.50)
BB ($104.95)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG raises to $3, 3 folds, BB raises to $6.5, UTG calls $4.

Flop: ($14.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, UTG checks.

Turn: ($14.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $20, UTG calls $15.25 (All-In).

River: ($49.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $49.50

Results in white below:
BB has Qc Qh (full house, queens full of sixes).
UTG has 9s 3s (one pair, sixes).
Outcome: BB wins $49.50.

this is what i meant, i didn't know what to expect so i bet it, i wouldn't have been surprised if he put me all in with AK on the flop.
