and i'm about 99% sure i've played with you at a place in chelsea -- your screenname is a hint, no?

I'm pretty sure I've played in that same place in Chelsea back when I was in grad school last year -- maybe our paths have crossed, too.

Haven't been there in quite some time, though -- I'm out in the burbs and Chelsea is a bit of a drive...

As soon as you get the roll play the 20/40. It's one of the juiciest games around.

[/ QUOTE ]

can you elaborate?

is it juicier than the 10/20?

Ok, I haven't sat 10/20 yet at Foxwoods, but I'm officially devoted to the 5/10 kill games after wading through 4/8 for 6 months or so. I spent Friday night and Saturday afternoon playing at Foxwoods 5/10, and it's awesome. I'd say around 40% of the pots were killed up to 10/20.

I won a $425 pot that had no river action.

Incredible game. A nice mix of old weak-tight guys who are better suited for the 1-3 stud and young idiots who would fit in better at the 1/2 NL tables.

I keep saying to myself that I'll stop moving up when I can find tables where at least 3 people know what they're doing consistently, and I don't think that's EVER going to happen at Foxwoods. At least not at 5/10.

Good luck....

Sorry they don't get anything going higher than 20/40 at FW's

The 10/20 at FW's is usually very soft although on occasion you will find it full of weak/tight grumpy old men. If there is only 1 20/40 game going the decent regulars might make it a mediocre game, but if there are 2 or more games going (as is typical) it is usually very good. Local knowledge of the players helps, but it doesn't take long to figure that out.
