Default ($22) JJ in BB, minraise from cut-off

No reads on players. Not too sure what to think of the minraise, seems rather fishy. How's my line?

I think you played it okay.. I might just call pf though.. OOP on the flop is going to be sucky whatever you do, maybe just play this for set value. Meh, I dunno.

My experience with JJ and QQ is that they are good enough to go broke with in the early rounds.

Harrington on Hold'em advises using bets just large enough to accomplish what you want and I think both your preflop raise and flop bet were larger than they needed to be. The mistakes compound each other, too since you have to make a large flop bet now that the pot is so big. Still, I think villain might fold for 150 to 200 if he is going to fold, so even modulating your flop bet by that much could have saved you some valuable chips.
