This is why I feel most of the outrageous winrate claims are total bull.

I apologize for the 5 BB thing. I had my pokertracker stats on since a date wen i looked at that number. After this week of playing my bb is at 1.17bb.100 hands and my vpip is 16.87. I have won $1415, im not sure how to copy and paste info from pokertracker. If you dont believe me please let me know how to do that. I have been playing more than just 2/4, those are just my stats for 2/4. I apologize to the people who got mad at my post, i was just wondering what suggestions anyone had with regards to the change from four to eight tabling. the main reason i changed was for the rake rebate.

I accept your apology, and there's no need to post any screenshots. However, I still hope you read my first post carefully. Honestly, I would suggest still playing 4 tables, posting hands and getting your game very solid. I think the amount your earning playing 8 tables in rakeback , is not worth the game improvement you will gain from really concentrating more thoroughly on the games you are in let alone a decreased winrate.

Oh, and I had 9+BB/100 last night in 400 hands. Does this mean I should move up 2 levels or only 1?

the thing is i was running good for about 20,000 hands, the odds of someone running that good for that period of a time is pretty slim

[/ QUOTE ]

People can run good for a lot of hands--more than 20,000, even. One can run good for X number of hands, where 1 < X < infinity. Do you see why?

Default You all need to look at this.....

....before you start going bonkers on who's a winner and who ain't. Which one am I based on these numbers? I dunno, but until I have 100K hands, I'm not even gonna SPECULATE as to what my (or anyone elses) "actual" rate is. And neither should any of you. I have spoken.

Right now I'm just concentrating on being lucky in the n+1th hand where 0 < n < n+1 and n = the previous hand. I am getting excited because I am close to mastering this. Do you see why?

This is a legitmate reason (I did it as well for a while), but it comes with a price. One can only improve so much by 8-tabling. I was 6-8 tabling my first 15K hands at 3/6 and ran at +3.5bb/100. I then hit a downturn, dropped to 4 tables, and still headed down. Downswings will happen, regardless of your focus. What you have to ask yourself is this; "Do I want to improve greatly, or do I want to make money now?" I am not saying either answer is correct or wrong, but it is basically the situation that you are in. I believe one can continue to improve and learn new things while 4-tabling, but when you get up to 8, moves become more scripted. I ultimately want to move up to 15/30, so I am staying at 4-tables for now so I can work on the subtle things that I may overlook when 8-tabling. I hope things work out well for you. Good luck.

Thanks bob, good luck to you as well. With my bankroll only at $1900 right now i think i might have to take your advice and four table for a while. It is defnitely not worth the 6-8 extra dollars an hour for the rakerebate if im losing multiple times that many big bets playing 8.
