Default graphics card

i have a dell Inspiron 9100 that has a graphic card that only allows me 1280 x 800 megapixels. thank god i have an extra monitor that allows 1280 x 1000 for poker, but i was just wondering if anyone knew if i could change a graphic card so i could fit four tables to a screen and how much it would cost. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. i would appreciate it. thanks

It's not your graphics card that's limiting you to 1280x800, it's your screen. How else would you be able to run a second monitor at a higher resolution?

Replacing your card will not allow you to run the laptop's screen at a resolution higher than its native resolution.

ok, thanks. my freind who told me i could exchange the graphics card obviously had no idea what he was talking about. i was just looking and found a 2005 fpw dell 20 inch monitor on ebay for $180 as the bid right now. the pixels are 1680 x 1050, is that enough for four tabling without overlapping?

The 2005 fp will have overlap , but the 2001 fp will not have overlap. Because the 2005 is widescreen, it cannot fit 2 tables on top of each other(poker tables @ 800 X 600 resolution). Whereas the 2001fp can fit 2 b/c its 1600 X 1200.
