Is his pf limp really that bad..I mean you're probably going to be at least 4 handed on the flop?

CO, Button, and SB are all loose and passive pf. BB is tight and won't raise from the BB. I'm counting on seeing at least four to this flop, maybe five or six, and probably not putting any more money in pf. I have no problems with the limp, given the circumstances.

i'd limp this 100% of the time at his table.

i mean, one guy open limped with KK! you dont get much more passive than that.

I kind of feel sorry for these ultra passive people. He wakes up only when he hits his set, and still loses (never realizing that his crappy play is responsible for his loss in the first place), so his passiveness is reinforced and he gets even more docile. Poor guy.

Results in white below:
SB has 8h 4h (flush, ten high).
MP1 has Ah As (one pair, aces).
Outcome: SB wins 16.50 BB.

Not likely an open limp on account of passive play, but vindication nontheless.

this is why I always feel funny playing micro-limits. the notion of taking money from people who don't know better is something I'll probably wrestle with as long as I play poker.

Yes, weak limp by MP.

YOUR turn at TURN: I think I like a call here. Hero has the nuts unless the board pairs. Pot is pretty big, but not very big by 1/2 standards.

I figure a raise will get me 2 bets at most like the way it happened.

A call might get overcallers on turn, MP is likely to bet out the river intead of checking it, and hero can raise there. Someone else may make a hand they feel they have to call with. MP may call the river raise. I see potential to get 3-6 bets instead of 2.
