Bettin or Raising $ X.99?

What do you guys think of making raising and bets that are .99 cents instead of just doing like a $10 bet, do a $9.99

i've found that people start thinking you are a little crazy and you start gettinag action?

anyone have any other ideas?

I love f*&king with the short stacks and raising 689 when they have 700. And it's great fun watching them go allin for 11 chips on the next round. It's amazing how many times people will just call and not go all in when I do this!

There is another possible psychological advantage to doing this -- the graphics make your bet/raise look real big. In S&Gs, I sometimes raise T99 instead of T100 for this reason. OK, most people look to the actual size of the raise, but the big stack of chips being pushed has caught my attention on the virtual tables.
