Default Absolute bonus clearing?

So I see this 50% up to $500 deposit bonus at Absolute. Considering my bankroll is actually just over $1,000, this sounds like a great way to get a bit of a surge.

How's the gameplay? I saw a post earlier that talks about how tight 1/2 full is, which only brings back nightmares of the Cryptos. BW rates 1/2 full as a C- and 6-max as a C, but I trust your opinions much more than an arbitrary letter system.

Also, how tough are the bonuses to clear? From what I see, it says raked hands. Ok, 5,000 raked hands. Piece of cake. Unfortunately, Absolute's rake schedule page doesn't seem to be working. Should I assume that the pot gets raked at $5, and that counts (unlike Crypto's new $1 rake requirement?)

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

If you play Omaha hi/lo at 1-2 and 2-4 limits, you can clear the bonus and beat the games rather easily. Players are terrible!

I'm playing absolute right now... It's done wonders for my bankroll. Constant bonus'. The bad part... Players, like you said, are extremely tight and only about 55% of pots get raked.

It's all about game selection.

The more games/limits you play, the easier it is to
clear. If you limit yourself to one game and limit you
may get frustrated. Play lots of things, earn lots of
bonus.

At 2/4 holdem, over 80% of the pots are raked (this is a 7,500 hand sample size). 90% of the hands are raked at 3/6, but I've only got a couple hundred hands at that limit.

Very important before playing at AP. Make sure you have a rake back deal somewhere. It will be worth the equivalent of one whole bonus or more.

Is there a spot on PT that says the % of hands raked?

Summary Tab. Gives you the number of hands at each site/level, and then the number that were raked.

And it is mostly inaccurate for AP

I have rakeback at Empire, which is where I do all of my non-bonus related play.

I love me some rakeback.
