Rio Poker Room
This may already have been discussed but I don't come to this Forum that often so excuse me if it has...
Anybody hear anything about the new Poker Room at the Rio in Vegas? I'm going the end of March and when I made my reservation I asked them about it since much of the WSOP is going to be held there and I didn't know if they were actually going to put a "real" room in or not. They told me they expected it to be ready by the end of this month.

They are hiring dealers right now. I used to work for the Rio and asked some of the supervisors if they were putting it back in. The normal answer..."we had a poker room?" lol. But yes, it will be a room, since Harrahs is dumping the management contract with the old Horseshoe. The 'shoe will be fully under MTR Gaming's control as soon as the WSOP 2k5 final 2 days are completed.
