Default I Want To Learn, Where Do I Start?

Hi, I want to get smart about investing, the stock market and whatnot. What are the best online resources for learning about the basics of all this mumbo jumbo? Also, what books are good for someone who knows next to nothing about any of this, but is fairly hungry to learn and become the best investor that ever lived? What's the best way to go about learning about investing so that I can become the best that ever lived? Thanks in advance, you guys are the best ever!
