What to do with bottom 2 pair?
Game #874239294: Omaha High Pot Limit ($0.15/$0.25) - 2005/09/12 - 00:09:17 (ET)
Table "Felix" Seat 5 is the button. Seat 1: LAG ($10 in chips) Seat 2: ($31.90 in chips) Seat 3: ($23.95 in chips) Seat 4: ($20.30 in chips) Seat 5: Hero ($27.85 in chips) Seat 6: ($23.50 in chips) Seat 7: ($27.35 in chips) Seat 8: ($28.35 in chips) Seat 9: TAG ($47 in chips) Seat 10: ($148.94 in chips) Seat 6: posts small blind $0.15 Seat 7: posts big blind $0.25 ----- HOLE CARDS ----- dealt to Hero [5d Js Th Jh] : folds TAG: raises to $0.90 : calls $0.90 LAG: calls $0.90 : folds : folds : folds Hero: calls $0.90 SB: folds BB: calls $0.65 ----- FLOP ----- [Td Qh 5s] BB: checks TAG: bets $4.65 : folds LAG: raises to $9.10 and is all-in Normally with bottom two pair, I'm done. However, the TAG has played... well, tight and aggressive, all night. I'm not sure that he's shown down a hand, but the few times he's played a hand he's bet the pot. Given his pre-flop raise, I think the chances that he has AA is pretty high. When I sat down, the LAG had about $90. He's now down to 10, and on tilt. He just sucked out the previous hand going all-in pre-flop with total junk against AA and caught a straight. He's trying to give his money away. Push or fold? PS Yes, I normally wouldn't play this hand either. However, I'm on the button, and if I make a hand I pretty much know I'm going to get paid off by the LAG. |
