Default A Gay Kentucky Derby Winner?

Last year's Kentucky Derby winner, War Emblem, is apparently having problems in the breeding shed. Fertility is not the problem though. It seems that he has no interest in any of the mares being brought to him.

According to bloodhorse.com they have sent to him: "various types of mares...from maidens to older, more experienced mares. The farm also tried mares that were gray, bay, chestnut, and nearly all black, similar to his coat, to no avail."

Default He\'s just waiting for a Sugar Mare

one who can keep him in the manner that he wants to become accustomed to....

Besides, if he were gay, wouldn't he WANT the boy horses to catch him? Ergo, he wouldn't be champion...

Secretariat had the same problem when they first put him out to stud.

Secretariat's initial problem was low sperm count. He had no trouble with the sex part. Once he was out of rigorous training for more than a year, his sperm count went up and he had more live foals.
