Re: Fountain of Youth.
I like Park Avenue Ball's chances to come get a piece of this race.
Defer just has the wrong running style for Gulfstream and this race. He is likely being pointed toward a bigger race next out and is at GP to get some dirt kicked in his face. It also surprises me how high everyone seems to be on High Fly and Nick Zito/Bailey. Can you say underlay? |

Re: Fountain of Youth.
High Fly was severely overbet, but he won. I still don't think he's that great.

I own a whopping 0.2% of Guilliaume Tell who lost on the undercard in a 9f 3yo NW1x race.

Re: Fountain of Youth.
My grandfather always told me not to own a racehorse because they "eat while you sleep." But 1/500th must not be too bad.
The FOY was about as boring as a Gulfstream race gets. The merry-go-round in full effect. I came out alright as I had a big place bet on Bandini and, of course, covered the exacta/tri with High Fly on top. Declan's Moon looked awesome at SA. |
