Default games in vegas

Hi, my girlfriend has just booked me a trip to Vegas in October staying at the Luxor. Having never been to Vegas I was wondering if any of you could recommend where to play NLHE small stakes. Thanks

If you're looking for a N/L game you can not beat Bellagio. Beautiful room, 24 action.

$100 buy in games everywhere that has a card room just about. In Luxor area there is Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM, Excalibur, Monte Carlo, Aladdin, Bellagio.

click here for info on Vegas poker

The following further down the strip also have card rooms. I am unsure if all offer a NL game: Flamingo, Harrahs, IP, Mirage, Wynn, Stardust, Riviera, Stratosphere, Sahara.

Luxor has $50 buy in NL and sometimes $100 buy in. Bally's has a $100 or $200 buy in NL game that you have to see to believe. I lost everytime I played but I have never seen NL played like that before.

Here is a hand.

New guy sits down, calls a raise, 3x the big blind. Calls a pot size bet on the flop and a even larger bet on the turn. Raises the initial better all in on river and turns over Q4 suited for a gutshot straight that was made on the river.

If I ever learn to play NL, I will go to Bally's and never leave.

Luxor has a small room, but if you want low limit NL, then you picked the right place.

Plus I think Excalibur has a nice room, and thats right next door. Stay out of Mandalay Bay. Try MGM and Monte Carlo. The stakes are higher for NL, but I really like Mirage. Bellagio is a cant miss, but man that place is always packed. I would also go to the Wynn because its a brand new room.

Make it a tour, go everywhere. Certainly check the posted link above.

I'd say steam is precisely right, with 100% accuracy, about bally's. Fish city. Play on late swing or graveyard.
