Default Could you be anymore passive?

I swear to God, I think some fish exist just to put me on tilt. What else could possibly explain this play?

My first hand at the table, BTW. Button made it to my buddy list after only 1 hand, a new record.

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(5 handed)</font> link

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button deliberates for quite some time, then calls.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB.
Results in white below:<font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Ks Kd (two pairs, kings and nines.)
Button has Ac As (two pairs, aces and nines.)
Button wins 6.75 BB.
</font>

Maybe her version of Party Poker is defective and didn't come with a raise button? That's the only other explanation.

Fortunately, this was balanced out by this hand later in the session:

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(5 handed)</font> link

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, Button calls, SB folds.

Turn: (3.00 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

River: (5.00 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Final Pot: 7.00 BB.
Results in white below:<font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 2s 7c (a full house, Twos full of sevens.)
Button has Jh Jc (two pairs, jacks and twos.)
Hero wins 6.50 BB.
</font>

Hero announces "Hammer time!" to table.

Default Tilt followup

Yeah! This time I get to be the suckout artist who puts people on tilt. 6 hands in a row from a recent session:

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(6 handed)</font> link

MP ($48.50)
CO ($89.50)
Button ($34.75)
Hero ($45.25)
BB ($10.59)
UTG ($68.87)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB calls, Button calls.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls, BB folds.

Turn: (4.00 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button calls.

River: (8.00 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Final Pot: 10.00 BB.
Results in white below:<font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 9d 9c (three of a kind, nines.)
Button has Js 5s (a pair of jacks.)
Hero wins 9.50 BB.
</font>

Button having proven to me his total donkicity, I decide to play the next hand, (where he's now CO) very aggressively:

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(5 handed)</font> link

BB ($48.50)
UTG ($89.50)
CO ($25.75)
Hero ($55.25)
SB ($8.59)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (10.00 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB folds, CO calls.

Turn: (7.00 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">CO bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (9.00 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">CO bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, CO calls.

Final Pot: 13.00 BB.
Results in white below:<font color="#FFFFFF">

Hero wins 12.50 BB.
</font>
Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(4 handed)</font> link

Well, that's gotta suck for him, but seriously, he shouldn't be raising preflop with crap like that.

Hand 3: all fold preflop

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(4 handed)</font> link

Button ($47.00)
SB ($15.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, SB calls, Hero calls.

Maybe a questionable call, but I'm getting 5/1 w/ suited 2 gappers. Worth a shot.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, SB calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls, Button calls.

River: (16.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">SB is all-in ($2.25)</font>, Hero calls.

Hero wins 20.25 BB.
</font>
Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(4 handed)</font> link

Well, that's gotta hurt--I've just taken $25 from this guy in a span of 4 hands! Let's see who else I can put on tilt.

Hand 5: all fold preflop

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em <font color="#0000FF">(4 handed)</font> link

SB ($36.50)
Hero ($94.50)
Button ($5.09)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

Turn: (6.09 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: (6.09 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: 6.09 BB.
Results in white below:<font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 2h Ac (two pairs, aces and twos.)
Button has Ah Kh (a pair of aces.)
Hero wins 5.71 BB.
</font>

Bye bye now! I never would have played this so if button was not short stacked, but a lot of players seem to try to give away their last few chips when they get low, and I figured he was doing that here.

What a delightful way to make $55 in 5 minutes!

Maybe this is why everyone's bitching about 1/2 and downswings. Anyone know how to actually seperate the bad luck from the bad play in the disparity between potential profit/profit? I want my $700.
