Default I just realize what I do standard might be LAGgy...

Paradise Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

I have ~100 hands on UTG, a 19/10/2, and in general, a very ABC player.

MP3 in this hand has not been around long, 20 or so hands, but has been a teeny bit loose, and hasn't been that aggro.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, MP3 calls, Button calls.

betting, hoping to be raised and put HU... worked better than expected

Turn: (5.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP3 calls, Button folds.

River: (7.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets...</font>

(pot size as of 3-bet is now 12.75 BB)

standard? looking back I thought I was too aggro

I don't think it's terrible or anything, but I'd probably just call that river. The only time where 3-betting is profitable is if he's raising you with a weaker made hand than yours. If he has a 4 or just rivered a set, you're seeing an expensive showdown. If he's raising a missed draw, he probably won't call the 3-bet.

I just call the river, due to the board being paired and the fact alot of guys like to wait to raise their turned trips/flopped set on the river, and don't like to do it much with something you beat.

This tells you all you need to know. I could confidently fold against a player like this on the river when he raises me. A 3 bet here I say is almost certainly spewage.

If you can fold to a cap, sure.

I check-raise the flop.

did you notice that UTG raised pf and then folded to our flop bet? weird.

btw i call the river raise rather than 3betting.

Call river raise. There's no hands that he raises and calls a 3-bet that you can beat.
