Re: a hand
Your turn AF must be around 4...
I think you're right though. |

Re: a hand
I am going to echo Krish and raise the turn (better than calling twice), but I would rather call the turn - then fold river ui. Looks like he is value betting now.

Your turn AF must be around 4... I think you're right though. [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't raise just any turn but this turn is god's gift to 2+2ers. You have a chance to fold a pair (it's a scare card), the villian could be on a flush draw in which case it's better because you don't have to guess on the river, if villian does have a weak pair we have 14 outs. FWIW I'm getting more passive on turns at 10/20 but this one is to sweet a spot to pass up. Krishan |

Re: a hand
Krishan beat me to it. Raise the turn is great here & I will do it just about every time @ 10/20.

Re: a hand
I'm not sure I agree with raising the turn here, I see your arguments but at 10/20 I just get 3-bet on the turn so often when I raise it and that would clearly suck immensely here. I suppose if we're planning on calling any river then it's only 1BB more (but we wouldn't call any river, we could fold some) and if it folds pairs a significant amount of the time then it must be worth it, but I don't know, I think pairs tend to not fold on the turn and I'm loathe to betting the river after raising the turn in this situation, it's complete spewage.

Re: a hand
Unless you have a read that the opponent can make folds and wouldn't 3bet with a worse hand, I'm with Spamuell on this one. I think a lot of opponents will at least call to try to hit 2 pair so I don't think there's that much folding equity here.
