Default Someone at my table topped up over the table limit

I have just sent a mail to Party after someone at my table topped up past the limit of the table - at a $50 table on one hand he had about $10, the very next hand he had $89, even though he had not won the previous hand. My email to Party is below;

-----------------------------------------
Hello,
I just noticed something strange happen on table 37222 while I was playing just a few minutes ago.

A player at my table, name: "d1sterbd" was down to about $10 at the end of hand #1811980935, and at the start of hand #1811982439 (the next hand) he had about $10 in chips. But on the hand AFTER that one, he suddenly had a stack of $89.30, even though he had not won the previous hand. Also, this is a $50 table, so he should not have been able to top up that much.

Can you please explain what is going on here.
Regards
-Cian O'Sheehan

----------------------------------------------------

I will update you on what they say back. This ever happen to anyone else?
-Ciano

This is what they wrote back;

Dear Cian,

Thank you for contacting our customer care department.

We would like to inform you that we did check the hand#1811982439 where the player **d1sterbd** had $10.20 with him but on the very next hand#1811983164 the same player had $89.30 as this player took money to the table from his partypoker account and we would also like to inform you that whenever the balance is less than $50 on this table the player would be able to add till $50 and we see that this player has added more than once to make his balance $89.30 which is according to the rule of the game.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to assist you.

Sincerely,
Somnath G,
Customer Care Representative.

Whats that supposed to mean? That you can buy in for more than $50 at a $50 table? Is this just another BS cover up for a technical error?

Hello again,
So are you saying it is possible to top up at a $50 NL table to above $50? Could you describe how I may do this please.

Basically they're saying if you make more than one rebuy request in a hand, both requests will be processed, even if it means buying more chips than the table limit.

Post blind, fold, rebuy twice or more and voila, you're the big stack.

FWIW, I just tried it on a $25 6-max, but it didn't work.

Have you or anyone else EVER been able to do this? It always stops at $50.
