Be real careful about winning seats on multiple sites. At PS, if you win 1 there, and then a 2nd, 3rd, etc., you can get W dollars or some such for the 2nd and subsequent wins. However, if you win a seat on UB and then again on PS, I don't know that PS will do anything for you at all. You will end up getting registered twice at Harrahs for the WSOP main event, and that's it. One seat where you'll play, and another one where you're a no-show, with $10,000 down the drain.

Don't try to win a seat on a second site until you've checked with them as to how they will handle it, or you could be playing in an event you effectively can't win.

You don't need to qualify, just show up with $10,000. However, I do hope to win several seats on PS, since it's essentially the same as winning $10,000 cash for each one.

Is it because you like always being a tool, or because you can't help yourself? Just trying to figure out if you deserve disrespect or pity.

Greg,

Ignore that guy. Can I ask you a question? After winning the WSOP2004 you yelled 'Cristo' or something like that. What does it mean?

Thanks,
Bocablkr

Last year, some of the bigger names tried to bully the amateurs into submission with big raises and bluffs. Like Daniel N. said, a lot of the amateurs were too stupid to realize they shouldn't be calling and made the calls.

[/ QUOTE ]

Negreanu's style is that he is good on picking up reads and bluffing weaker players. That works well against the type of weak player Negreanu was used to encountering in a $10K tournament, that is a solid amateur or semipro player who was outclassed at that level. Against a real calling station type this kind of play is suicide. They showed Negreanu looking pretty silly on TV trying that sort of thing. Bluffing a calling station is a basic error that Brunson discusses in SS.

Hi Greg,

you get the $10K in W$ though for each additional.
especially if you win numerous extra, that is quite a lot which you can only spend on a few events there.
Just a thought.

and it wasn't after winning the event (it may have looked like that due to an ESPN highlight reel) - it was after winning a big pot with pocket 5s. can't remember if he hit a set or not but the 5s held up.
