fold the first time preflop.
i don't think this is close, at all. i'd like to say that i've seen closer decisions in "should i fold AA preflop to the short stack in a freeroll super satellite" questions, but that one was just retarded. citanul

Button had AQ and UTG had AK. UTG won a nice pot.
I was second-guessing my fold because I would have been a favorite in the hand getting 2.5:1 on my call. I also thought that both button and UTG might have worse hands than normal to make these raises since button was short-stacked and all-in. But this is results-oriented thinking I guess (even though I would have lost the hand...).
