Default If you play online at all, PLEASE read this. Poker Trojan/Virus found

I know this is the B&M forum but I consider this to be more of my "Home" forum than the Zoo so here is some info for any of you who also play Online and may not have seen this in the Zoo.

Here is a link to a thread I started in the zoo that I think is pretty interesting:
Poker Trojan

Here is the short story. A poker trojan was found by a security expert out there in computerland who also writes for one of the computer industy magazines. This trojan basically took low-res screen shots of a persons computer, thus showing his hole cards, and sent them to the people on the other end of the trojan. This means they could play poker with this person with 100% knowledge about what hole cards they had and took advantage of that. You all are smart enough poker players to know what that could do and how information like that could be used to gain a significant edge.

I have personally been in contact with the person who found this trojan and I have no reason to believe that this is not 100% true. This is not the typical "Party is rigged" or "Sky is falling" rant. This is real and happening to more than just this one person out there.

Here is the deal. IF the PC that had this trojan had any antivirus software (up to date of course) and/or a firewall in place this would not have happend. So, if you play online for gosh sake make sure you have up to date antivirus software and/or a firewall in place on your system.
